Social Media is a Must!

Hello Again...

Welcome to the revamped version of my blog - Creating your Social Media Presence!!!
Let me tell YOUR story thru photographs.  Yes, that's what I said - tell YOUR story.

Take a look at these questions and see if you would answer Yes...I need help, to any of them:

     1.  Do you struggle with not having enough time to post to your social media sites?
     2.  Do you want to take your ideas to the next level and really build up your prospects and
          potential customer base?
     3.  Do you wish you had help creating excitement and ideas for your customers?
     4.  Are you feeling pressured and stressful at the thought of where to begin or what to post?

These are just a couple questions to get you to start thinking about what you need vs. where you are.  I tell your story thru photographs, and there is no one out there right now that will do this for you...but me.  We take the stress and worry out of your days, your weeks, even months.  This frees up your valuable time to do what you love to do...run your business.

Feeling motivated today.  We took a drive over to a nearby Golf Course, Red Tail here in the Progress neighborhood.  Not a lot of people playing so I could take some shots for a client.  But these pine cones caught my attention.

Then I discovered there was an Eagle's nest up in the trees.  We looked and looked but could not find the nest...but...the parents were freely giving us a show as we watched them dance in the sky swooping and soaring ever higher and higher till out of sight they flew.

As always, let me know what you think...and any of the shots I post here are for sale.
Just ask me!

So I decided to take the afternoon off and treated my husband to the Roadster Show in Portland on Friday.  What a great time we had looking at all the different and  uniquely designed automobiles, motorcycles and trucks.  We like to go on a Friday when if first opens.  That way the crowds are smaller and the ability to take some good quality shots without all the people is much better.

Here are just a few that I thought were good enough to post here.  I don't like to make each shot a direct head on, so the more creative I can get, the better I like it.

Feel free to comment, or just let me know you stopped by to take a look.

Mardi Gras Cupcakes in the Making...

My day started with a drive out to Aloha to visit a friend.  It proved to be such a fun day with my pal Pamela Gillilan - owner of Pamela's Cakes & Cupcakes.

She was baking cupcakes for a wonderful Mardi Gras Party, and I was along for the ride, camera in hand.  The colors of an event that happens only once a year, that thousands celebrate with great excitement.

Such an amazing process to go from beginning to end with three dozen cupcakes. It intrigues me to see what passions abound, and to be able to capture it to share with others.

Here are a few of my favorites.....

Sunshine makes me happy :)

Nothing like a little sunshine to brighten up your mood!  The gray days are hard to get motivated because the dreariness with continuous blacks and browns keep me indoors creating and framing.  Being a nature photographer means you NEED to get outdoors or you go a little bit craazy.

Let's take a look at some of the goodness I found today.....

So much to look at...so happy to see that Spring is on it's way.  What will the next venture into the world bring to light...
